Life at the AltarAltar studios is a converted church designed to provide you with a creatively inspiring area to learn and work. We are a fully fledged working studio with both the facilities and experience to record and produce release quality music, as well as train upcoming producers like you.
We have ghost produced tracks for DJ’s and professional artists that have accrued millions of views on Youtube. We have recorded artists signed to Warner, Polygram and Sony Music BMG. We wrote the industry recognised textbook on electronic music production (published via Routledge) and we are chair of Electronic Music for the Audio Engineering Society.
Now, we’re the UK’s first and only boutique studio dedicated to teaching electronic dance musicians. We regularly hold workshops on topics ranging from remixing through to synthesis, sound design and mixing, or you can book one on one sessions and have the studio and a producer for the day.
