Chris is a Product Manager and a Smaart Instructor for Rational Acoustics. He has been working and teaching in the field of sound system engineering for the past 10 years, and holds a BA in Music Production & Technology from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. He also works as a freelance sound engineer throughout New England and is an active recording and mixing engineer. Over the course of his career, Chris has performed audio mixing and sound system engineering duties for clients all over the Northeast. In addition to music oriented performances and events Chris has mixed live audio for post broadcast with Louis CK, Jim Jefferies, Jim Norton, Jim Gaffigan and others. As a Smaart Instructor Chris has maintained a rigorous training schedule, conducting classes for thousands of industry professionals throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia since 2015.
