Gary has been involved in immersive audio since the days of Dolby Pro Logic. He spent almost 20 years working at Dolby Laboratories as the audio world transitioned from matrix encoded stereo, to 5.1-channel surround, to 7.1-channel, and then to full Dolby Atmos. He is a founding member of the Immersive Audio Alliance. The Alliance is a collection of experienced engineers and technicians that see immersive audio as the best way to experience real life audio in entertainment media.
