There are many factors involved with putting together a great live mix. From the basics of input gain, eq, compression, plugins and routing, to the source, the audience and the artist. It’s technical, but done with creativity and passion. Whether you are just thinking about mixing or are a seasoned veteran, there is something for everyone. I will discuss and demonstrate the process which has worked for me whether I’m mixing artists like Garbage or Enrique Iglesias.
