In-Ear Monitors are meant to protect hearing while giving a balanced, clear mix. But for this to happen, the sound engineer, the artist, and the in-ear manufacturer all must be on the same page. The artist has to want to listen at a lower volume level & the engineer needs to know the SPL that the artist is getting in the mix.

Andrew Bellavia, Director of Market Development for Knowles Electronics, and Dr. Michael Santucci, a dedicated advocate for hearing health and president of Sensaphonics will discuss how recent technology advances help protect hearing while giving a balanced, clear mix.

This session will be hosted by Mike Dias, the Executive Director of the In-Ear Monitor International Trade Organization.
